Among the archaeological sites, of note are the burial mounds in Pian del Re, a large funerary monument dating back to the Late Bronze Age.
Equally interesting to visit are the town of Baiardo, and several caves in Val Nervia, around Melosa. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing.Canyoning is possible from June to September.
The Val Roya is ideal for kayaking and canoeing. In the Breil area, the river Roya can be covered for nine kilometres. There are opportunities to go horse riding or paragliding. |
